It was a month ago and it was raining cats and dogs. We were again on the hunt with my cousin to find a new place for some delicious brunch when we thought of trying the infamous 7Stern Café. Little did we know at the time that this is “the place to be” and there will be no free places. I don’t have to mention the fact that we were rather disappointed, but still, we decided to keep our options open and try again another time.
After a month has passed and we were a bit freer, I decided that we should finally return to 7Stern Café and check for ourselves what was the fuss about. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the place had an interesting interior and cozy atmosphere. It has a very alternative atmosphere, brought by the small benches on the side with cute tables, where you can even lay down while enjoying your meal or a cup of coffee.
It was a Friday morning so we had to reserve a table for our usual brunch, however, what made an impression was that the staff was not big, but they were quick and efficient and everything we ordered came fast and we did not have to wait more than needed for our meal. We had some delicious coffee, sadly I don’t remember the name of my meal, but it contained prosciutto, some amazing bread, herbal butter, scrambled eggs with melted, gooey cheese and a dip of cottage cheese with some baby radishes and all of that accompanied by some delicious bread.
Since our stay there was quite long (we were there for four hours), we also ordered some of their delicious cakes. The larger amount of them is vegan and those which are made with animal products are gluten-free. I had the Schwarzwald Cherry cake, which tasted just divine.
All in all, it was a great experience and we would definitely be going back there soon. I always enjoy I good brunch, however, it is a real challenge to find a perfect combination of offer, price, and quality. This one is approved to be a perfect choice!
